All materials are heavy gauge steel with a powder coating process to help insure a quality appearance for years to come. Hudson Digital Systems connects equipment to a properly prepared room supplied by the client.

The installation must meet all state and local codes.
All wiring is to be stranded copper only.

Voltage Requirements are 208 -250 volts single phase.
Standard High Frequency Generator requires a 100 amp circuit breaker disconnect at the generator location in the X-ray room.

A 70 amp breaker may be substituted, but power output may be reduced.
Optional Stored Energy Generator requires a 30 amp circuit breaker disconnect at the generator location in the X-ray room.

No neutral wire is required.
A 50 foot run requires two(2) #2’s and one(1) #6 ground. A 100 foot run requires two(2) #00’s and one(1) #6 ground.
Important: If run is greater then 100 feet, Hudson must be notified and new wire size(s) calculated. A 110 volt 15 amp duplex outlet will be required at computer work station.

Hospital Network Requirement
For hospital work stations, Hudson remote support, automated off site back up and teleradiology, a Cat 5, Cat 5e or Cat 6 connection is required at the work station with internet access.
Contractors with questions may call 877-278-9800 extension 703.

Recommended X-Ray Room Sizes
HDS 4000 – 8’ X 10’ (recommended) – 7’ X 8’ (minimum)
HDS 1000 – 7’ X 9’ (recommended) – 6’ X 7’ (minimum)

In rooms of recommended size, a typical layout would have the power generator box to the right end of the table and internet/network and 115VAC outlets for the server/workstation at the left end.
Minimum room sizes leave no room to stand at either end of the table.
Confirm layout with Hudson Digital Systems.
Custom layouts are available.
