The Hudson Digital Systems. (HDS) web site promotes trust, privacy and security. HDS has adopted this policy to communicate commitment to your privacy. This policy is applicable to the HDS website and any other website or online communications facilities owned or operated by HDS. HDS reserves the right to change this policy at any time. Using our website demonstrates your consent to HDS’s collection and use of information pursuant to this policy, and continued use of this site following the posting of changes to this policy will signify your acceptance of such changes.
This policy governs the use of your name, e-mail address, payment information, and similar personal information that you may provide HDS in the course of using our website, products or services.
HDS collects personal information when you use the contact form. We collect personal information in order to provide certain products and services to its customers. In addition, HDS may, and you hereby authorize us to, disclose your personal information when required to do so by law, when HDS, in its sole discretion believes that you are in violation of our Terms of Service Agreement, or when you violate any state, federal law, or international laws, or HDS in its sole discretion deems it necessary or appropriate to protect the personal safety of other users of HDS services or to protect the rights or property of HDS.
HDS’s email announcements: HDS occasionally uses e-mail to send announcements regarding new products, services, and/or promotions, and informational newsletters that would be of interest to our customers.
Announcements via email are on an opt-in basis only. By submitting material through our contact form, you are opting in to receiving these e-mail announcements. You can choose to unsubscribe to HDS e-mail at any time by emailing sales@hudsondigitalsystems.com with the subject line: “Unsubscribe”. HDS will also send replies to customer e-mail via e-mail or telephone. If you have sent a request to HDS about which we need to communicate with you, we may do so by e-mail.
Security: Although HDS carefully selects third parties, is sensitive to the privacy and security of your personal information, and intends to safeguard such information, HDS and any such third party cannot guarantee absolute security for such information.
Such information may be transmitted through or using the internet, other public telecommunications networks, servers, hardware and software (“systems”) that are not owned, operated, or controlled by HDS, and HDS makes no assurances that such information will remain private when transmitted by HDS through such systems. Although we use industry standard practices to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personally identifiable information or private communications are impenetrable to hackers.

Protected Health Information: (called “PHI”) HDS provides services to Healthcare Providers/Covered Entities that involve the use and disclosure of protected health information under services that relate to the installation, calibration and maintenance of medical imaging equipment. HDS may make any and all uses of protected health information necessary to perform its obligation as set forth in applicable installation/service contracts with the client. Additionally HDS may disclose protected health information for the purposes authorized by this policy and only to authorized employees, subcontractors and agents of HDS.
HDS is potentially exposed to PHI in two distinct ways:
A.) As an installer and service/maintenance provider, service can be peripherally, not intentionally, exposed in the course of performing their responsibilities maintaining medical imaging equipment.
B.) HDS is potentially exposed when transporting dated x-ray films (purged) to be channeled to the reclaiming company (recycled).
HDS has a policy not to use and/or disclose the protected health information only as permitted or required by this policy or as other wise required by law.
HDS has a policy to request the minimal amount of protected health information, which will adequately meet its intended needs.
HDS has a policy to notify the appropriate parties of any disclosure or unauthorized use of the protected health information that is not required.
HDS has a policy to use reasonable efforts to maintain the security of the protected health information. All informational content for products is the intellectual property of the respective owners.
HDS will require all of its employees, representative, subcontractors or agents that receive or use or have access to protected health information under this policy to agree and adhere to the same restrictions and conditions on use and/or disclosure that apply herein.
